We are actively seeking a Senior Software Engineer based in Columbia, MD. This will be a Full time, onsite role. This position requires an active Top Secret SCI Full Scope Polygraph.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Puyenpa team supporting the (IC) Intelligence Community. The main responsibilities of the role include:

• The Senior Software Engineer develops. maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements.

• Works individually or as part of a team. Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results.

• Resolves software problem reports. Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.

• Provides specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.

Professional Experience:

• Ten (10) years experience in technical program management and/or system development team lead.

• Ten (10) years experience developing systems with relational database applications in Oracle, Sybase, or SQL. Must be proficient in data modeling and data manipulation.

• Eight (8) years experience developing systems with object-oriented programming language (i.e. Java, C ).

• Four (4) years experience with Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) applications. Must be proficient in Enterprise Java Beans (EJB) and Java Server Page (JSP) development.

• Four (4) years experience on requirement analysis/generation.
